when i import a book using xml method the fields edition and language doesn't take theis values frm the file

What version you use and for wjhat Joomla version ?

For me that work.
Please from attachment replace on yours site files:

{yours site}/administrator/components/com_booklibrary/admin.booklibrary.class.impexp.php
{yours site}//administrator/components/com_booklibrary/admin.booklibrary.html.php
{yours site}//administrator/components/com_booklibrary/admin.booklibrary.php

but first please backup these files.
