Hello,

You may assign only fields what exist,
Or additional info you may add to Description fields.

If you need new fields you may order custom version with help OrdaSoft support form

Thanks,

Thank you for your reply. IMO genres are a very basic feature for a media library, and not advanced stuff. Customers look for 'Science Fiction' or 'Mystery Thriller' rather than for a specific title. If a media library does not cover that, I can't see any advantage to naked VirtueMart.

So I guess I don't even have to ask if you have implemented author pages where you can introduce the author and have links or a showcase for all his books?

thanks

Cyana,

We implement most important features for media library build.

add new features create more complicate component what will very difficult in use.

If you need come custom special site - you may order it from us.
And we will build exactly what you wish

Thanks,

Thank you for your reply. I would have loved something like Calibre for the web. So my expectations obviously were too high. Your application is more focused on warehousing books and medias, not really managing them in a sense of a librarist. And your most outstanding feature, the Amazon import, does not work for me. So I'll drop it for now and will try K2.

thanks

If you can't find something suitable for your requirements, try to address to an app development company and they will create what you like. I also like Calibre and use it all the time.
