Hi there,

I have a website for a client that sells trucks with trailers and bulk feeders. Is there a straight forward way to modify and create new fields for the client to fill in? The list of features and fields that are need are rather long. I'm decent enough with PHP programming, but hoping theres a simple solution to this before i start butchering the backend.

If you use our Truck template ordasoft.com/Joomla_templates/Joomla-Tem...truck-june-2012.html
Most simply way rename field with help Language foiile

If you use our Vehicle manager - you may rename fields with help Language manager - in Vehicle manager Admin

Thanks for your reply. If I need to add new fields, is there a way? I'll need more than the standard "custom fields" provided.

hello,

in last version Vehicle manager exist "extra fields" - what you may enable at admin setting, and rename with help Language manager.
Other you wil lneed rebuild code

I've managed to figure out a solution. I've modified the "Features" functionality to allow text inputs for each feature I create.
