error sql while installing component 12 Years, 11 Months ago

Just purchased vehicle manager pro 2.0 and while trying to install i get a huge error:
This also happened with the Basic version.

The component installs but wherever I go I get SQL errors and the component is not usable.


Info:

Database Version: 5.5.8-log
PHP Version: 5.3.5
Web Server: Apache/2.2.17 (Win32) PHP/5.3.5
WebServer to PHP Interface: apache2handler
Joomla! Version: Joomla! 1.5.22 Stable [ senu takaa ama woi ] 04-November-2010 18:00 GMT





UPDATE: It seems that with Mysql version 5.5.8 the component will not install but with version 5.1.48 everything seems to work fine.

Will the component be updated to support the latest version of mysql ?

Thank you admin for your support.

What I did was install component with version mysql 5.1.41 and export database. Then change to version 5.5.8 and import database. Everything is working now.
