VehicleManager component support

I am working on the tempate shown in this video - www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bCyXPhmZBo.

However:
1. The menus I have are displayed vertically instead of horizontally as in the menus of the sample template hereby shown (www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bCyXPhmZBo / [February 2012 Auto Dealership Joomla Template for Private Auto Dealers and Auto Dealership].

2. I wish to remove the line "Our vehicle catalogue with cars for rent or sale." Where can I edit / remove this text?

3. I am stuck on the enabling the template work albeit 50% similar to the sample site. Any ideas why?
