Joomla Gallery Support

I will not be able to recommend this component as some fundamental functionalities are missing.

5 minutes into using it and I have discovered two big problems:

1. I don't see a way to move an image into a different category, either by dragging or by selecting a different category. It is very easy to upload to a wrong category and the only option is then to manually delete each image and start again.

2. There is no ability to select multiple categories for an image. This should be a a fundamental ability.

$29 is too much to pay for such lack of functionality.

Please let me know if you will add this functionality and if you will, when will it be implemented?

Otherwise, I will have to get another image gallery.

You first who asked about these features (for more 500 000 Our Joomla gallery users )
We planed add this many years ago, but because no body not asked these ....

Now in Our "Joomla image gallery" you may show image in category or without category. And yes, you need exactly upload image to category or gallery where exactly you need it.

In new gallery we planing add:
- More effects
- multi Languages
- Possibility create short code to some category in gallery
- Possibility create short code to some image in gallery

May be possible add this as "Tags"

For every image set so many tags as wish and show images on frontend with Tab where tab name is tag name.

But this will need check. For now Joomla Gallery has very intuitive interface, else we may lost this. And we lost some features.

Now you may add 1 image to every category, where you need it
