Where can I add an select item to the status select field of an order?

At the moment there are the following items:
- pending
- completed
- chargeback
- cancel
- refund

I need to add "confirmed" after "pending"

Why "completed" - for you not good ?
as we seem we added to our Joomla website builder all types of "orders status", which may need to buyer

I would like to explain:

When I reservation requests comes in it has automatically the status "pending".
If I accept the reservation I cannot switch to "completed" in OS CCK as the reservation is still in the future. CCK doesn't allow it.

Pending for me means: the reservation is not yet confirmed and has to be accepted or declined.
If I accept the reservation and I already send the confirmation letter together with a deposit invoice for me the reservation is "confirmed" from my side. If the customer sends a deposit, the reservation is also confirmed from the customers side.

For me completed means: The customer has already returned the vehicle and their are no complains etc. Then I give the status "completed". The vehicle is back to our office.

For now in our Website builder for orders, we use "order status" - which used PayPal.

For add to users possibility add new "Order status" - will need check all payments plugins and check full payment chain.

We will add this features to whish list

I understand now. The field status is for the payment process and not for the reservation process.
However, I need a select list field also for the reservation process. Maybe in one of the next versions you can implement it.

For reservation
- pending
- confirmed
- in rent
- completed
- canceled

we will check how add new status to order.
But now, you may change orders status and add comments to this.
So you may add you additional comment to order comments
