How does one get a SEF URL for a link/menu item to a single category?

All I get is a SEF URL to a-lone-category, despite my menu items each pointing to a different category.


Example:
Link for one menu item = index.php?option=com_realestatemanager&view=alone_category&layout=alonecategory
Params Tab, Category = "Above $200K"

I would expect the SEF URL to be "above-$200k".

SEF404 and the Real Estate Manger Plugin do not seem to be able to deal with this.

Tell me what I am doing wrong.

for create SEF url - you need turn on that in Joomla global setting first

after that you may configure that in sh404sef component and instal our plugin for your property site

Joomla Global Setting is turned on.

sh404sef component is install and configured.

your plugin is installed per instructions in the README.TXT.

I still cannot get a SEF URL to work when I create a menu item and chose a REM category. Regardless of the category I choose, I get a URL of "alone_category". Not the menu item or the category as I would expect.

They all end up with "alone_category"
