1. Can I use a payment gateway component with this like Virtuemart or Redshop; so, pespective renters can pay their rent.?

2. If a renterpulls up their account is it possible for them to view their account only? ie info and say pay history?

3. Can search function be closed; so, only a realtor can only see their assigned properties? with filtering via an extr field like in SOB?

Real estate manager has all features for build payment rent system, As example for every - who send rent request - you may send link for some product in Virtue mart, and after client pay - yopu will approve rent request.
If you need connect that semi automatically - you wil lneed build that self or writ custom component create request to OrdaSoft Support form

in Pro version - admin can configure realEstate manager - for possibility frontend users - manager self properies from frontend
Any payment option - require additional work

Not full understand what you mean.
In Real estate manager - every realtor - can access and manage self properties from frontend (if admin permit that)
Self search - you may rebuild as you wish ,Or ask from us custom version
