htaccess problem 6 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,

I'm testing Medialibrary and have a little problem which I believe has to do with having setup the administrator section of my joomla installation with htaccess / htpasswd security.

Whenever I select the Medialibrary section of my frontend installation a dialog pops up asking for the username and password.

It seems the frontend Medialibrary code makes some calls to code existing in the admin directories.

Do you have any ideas other than getting rid of the htaccess password to resolve this?

Thanks,

Emery

Hello Ordasoft-team,

I've the same problem. I've installed Joomla 1.5.18 and booklibrary 1.5.3 basic. If the admin-area is protected with htaccess, it happens, that whenever I select the medialibrary section in the frontend, a dialog pops up, asking for username and password. It seems, that the frontend-code from medialibrary refer to code existing in the admin directories.
Can u help me?

tnx & greetz
