Joomla Gallery Support

For compress WEPB images in our Joomla Gallery - we use GD php library.
Yes - when we compress image - there we see: some collors lost and image not so excellent.

BUT, this happened only with thumbnail images, and all understand: when image compressed - we will lost image quality. Original gallery images continue Excellent

To new version of gallery, we will add possibility compress WEPB images with help IMAGICK PHP library. If IMAGICK - will "turn on" on clients website hosting - we will us this library.
Images compressed with this library look more best.
BUT This will possible only for 1-5% of our clients. 90-99% of hostings not have this PHP library. On Dedicate and VPS hostings - you can self install this PHP extension

Did you check: you will can enable IMAGICK PHP extension on yours website server ?

Yes, this has been enabled and the thumbnails are still the same. Why have they not changed to original quality?

In current version OrdaSoft Joomla Gallery - not exist imagick - support - this need add

Thumbnails we create 1 time - if thumbnail exist - we not recreate it - other you lost a lot resource every time when press Save Button.
For recreate Thumbnails you may do something from that:
- remove and reupload image which need recreate
- in setting change Thumbnail size - so we regenerate all Thumbnails

ok we have deleted this album. Then we recreated new album and re uploaded all images. Thumbnails are still looking the same with gray color filter. nothing has changed.
