BookLibary Component Support

Hello team,

I have a few smaller issues which i went thru the manual first to resolve. Looks like your support is required. Please see the attached test results.doc for more details.

1) Booklibrary Manual says that once a book is lent out it will not be available for others to lent out. However for my implementation even after the book is lent approved, the Lend Rrequest button appears and allows generation of lend request for future dates. I want the functionality like what is mentioned in manual....ie; lend request button will not appear after book is already lent out. Pls see screenshots attached.

2) Image for categories: the link to upload image doesn’t appear… frontend settings is activated. pls check screenshot.

3) Re-captcha image is not appearing for User Registration form and passwd reset. This is causing inconvenience to members. pls assist. See screenshots.

4) How can a library member see/check his/her lent books history online? We are unable to see this working for members? Pls assist.

5) Where/which file can I change the text “Our library with suggestions for books for you to enjoy.” which appears on home page?

6) The manual doesn’t make reference to Community Builder plugin but in the frontend config we see that tab making reference to ‘Community Builder/My Book Plugin settings. Please provide document on how to use this in the frontend/backend.

Hello,

1) Please, check in this way - install component (without any changes) on fresh joomla, and you will get functionality mentioned in manual.

2) To load images need to go Content->Media Manager. There create a folder stories and load your pictures into it.

3) 31. BookLibrary 2.0.x Shop CAPTCHA
When you do not see a CAPTCHA image in the frontend (and all the needed PHP extensions have been checked to be activated), then the issue is related to an unwriteable session save path. Fix in documentation, page 113. Check this, please.


4) Library member can see/check his/her lent books history сlick on button Show my books.


5) You can change it with help of BookLibrary :: Language Manager

put Our library with suggestions for books for you to enjoy in Search and change it.



6. For use Plugin at first you must install Community Builder component. You will get additional option for Show my books.

For Community Builder Plugin there is no any documentation.

3 & 6) I am working on it...

4) Show My Books - i actually have it enabled but it comes blank even if the member has books borrowed.
eg; user A0020 has few books on lent but show_books doesn't show anything. The frontend config has show_books button enabled. Pls see the attached image.

1) Books Lend Request issue: for this issue i am ok to try your soln but am worried that if i reinstall the booklibrary plugin, would it overwrite the MySQL database settings in anyway or the only change with your assistance to the codes which is to include "amazon.in"? It would be of great help if you can help login and check for this issue and issue no (4) above please.

Hello,

1) First make all on a test site.

2) For lend Lend Requests in Show My books button - there you will see Requests, if someone will take your book (book, which you added). Only in this way.

all Requests - you can see in BookLibrary :: Lend Requests.
