I try to translate some string in the file France.php but without success. I changed many string but when I upload the file, I don't see any change. I always cleared all cache, set param component to French and take care to upload the file in the right place. Furthermore if I try to delete the file France.php (or even English.php and constant.php), all string still visible and this seem not to be normal...

For your info I use the last last version of Community Builder and I see your CB plugin is marked not compatible with this last version...even if in practice I get well my CB tab with books inside. Maybe is necessary to update your CB plugin for allow me to well translate string ? Or is for another reason ?

Any clue ??

Hello,

You can change words, word combinations and other constant values using Language Manager tool.
For this you should
1. Go to Book Library -> Language Manager
2. Insert word in field Search by value constant and press Enter
3. Find your language, click on needed value constant
4. Change this value constant as you want.

Please have a look at screenshot.

Try this method of translating and write me please if everything is ok.

As regards to your question with CB plugin, tell me please, do you have problems with its work (except that it is marked as incompatible)?

Sorry I totally miss the Language Manager section... However this method is not ideal because I must always switch the select box for find my language and this for each string. Furthermore is annoying to always scroll down for find the next string to change... Is not possible to edit directly language file without use UI ? Is more easy for me...

Unfortunately your CB plugin is not well compatible and can be used only partially. I make a fresh install and I noticed at least 2 problem:

1) Add book button present on the CB tab don't work and I get error. The link seem to be wrong and look like this:

index.php?submit=+[Add+book]&task=add_book_fe&option=com_comprofiler&task=publish_book&option=com_comprofiler&task=unpublish_book&option=com_comprofiler&catid=112&tab=getmybooksTab


2) When I click on any username (except my own) of "CB Online" module, seem to loop and I get error ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS. The url look like this:

index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=view_user_books&tab=getmybooksTab&name=Mike%20Foo&user=63


I hope you can fix those problem ASAP.
