sorry, what you "everywhere" ?

If you set al las you described - add button must appear in every category.

Setting like now - exist - for possibility site admin set only some category for user book add. So at time book add - user can add book only to some category !!

sorry, could you tell me which is the php page to change for to modify the "new book page" in the frontend? I tried to modify admin.booklibrary.html.php, but I can see my modifications only in "new book page" in the backend and not in the frontend

{yours site}/components/com_booklibrary/booklibrary.php

all frontend changes in book library for data show in file:
{yours site}/components/com_booklibrary/booklibrary.html.php

I have also the pro version (last version) and neither the add book nor edit book buttons appear. I have configured everything as you have said but still nothing.

Any help, please?

My apologies... The buttons are in the "My books" menu, not in every book view. Is it possible to have these buttons also in the book view (only for editors, publishers, etc.)?
