Joomla Gallery Support

I have experienced the same problem when I was testing this extension.

I first added 4 images in a gallery.

Then I highlighted an image and added a title to this image. Then clicked save.

I proceeded to do this with the 3 other images as well.

When looking at the gallery, I could at first see the title on each image.

Then suddely, the title was gone.

I then entered the gallery component and found that the title now was gone from all 4 images.


I have since upgraded to the latest version , and still experience the same problem.

Please download last version of the gallery.
But you will need recreate all galleries

Hi there,
I do believe I got the latest version (3.2.7 Light)

I however deleted that old gallery, and created a new one.

It does not make any change.

I added this new gallery and added a few pictures to this.
I then added some image options, and as before, these stayed for a few minutes, and then all image options dissappeared.

The options I added was Title, Alias, and Short description.

I will try to install this on one of my demo sites on a different server, to see if it happen there aswell.

Hi there, and thanks a lot for fast feedback.

I think I got this sorted now.

It wasn't enough to simply upgrade to the new version. I basically had to uninstall the old version of OS Gallery, and thereafter reinstall the new version.

After installed the new version on my Joomla site, I have now played around with this system for a while, and so far the system no longer seem to "lose" the information entered.

I will do some further testing, and check this regularly over the next few days to see if the problem is fully gone. Will then revert to this tread is I the problem reocur.

I have now done some more testing, and the problem is unfortunately still there.

I have tested this on two different sites residing on different servers with different hosting companies, and as far as I can tell this problem is still very much there.

To reproduce:

1) Create an album, add some images, and enter image options such as Title, Alias, and Short Description. Save this data.
2) Now you can verify that the image data options is showed in the gallery. All good so far.
3) Then go to "Gallery Settings" for this album.
4) Change "Crop Image Width:" for the gallery within the "Gallery Settings"
5) Exit "Gallery Settings" by clicking "Save and Close"
6) You will now see that the image options are empty for all images within that gallery.

I hope you are able to reproduce this on your own server, but if not, let me know and I can setup a administrator login to my demo site so that you can test this.
