How to add GBP currency 7 Years, 9 Months ago

I have searched the forum to try and solve this but all threads I have found do not seem to give enough information on what I need to do. One thread says I need to turn off Paypal before adding GBP to the 'Price Options'. But the method given must be of an older version because it doesnt make sense to what I see in REM settings.
