For every module in module setting - you may set what menu items assign for it, So module wil lshow only for these menu items

Yes, with help menu item - you may connect some modue.

For you case you need edit some component content. For me not clear what,
So you need instal component in some position in that component and module (if it support that), =you may check that add "tp=1" params in your URL(first you need permit show template positions in your template)

If your component(your page not show any template position), you need check plugin "loadposition" - it help add any module or plugin to some position in joomla articles or in some component description text,

Other you need go to your component code and add support for module position to it
