Joomla Translate component support

PHP 7.4.33 + Joomla Translate Commerce 6.1.1
Module > List/Plain text/Text with flag: Dropdown list with flag:

- Joomla 3.10.11 + Helix Ultimate 1.1.4 (Bootstrap 4) is not opening.

- Joomla 4.2.6 + Helix Ultimate 2.0.11 (Bootstrap 5) is not opening.
develop.egulp.net/ - You can test it here (on the top right)

- Joomla 4.2.6 + Cassiopeia (Bootstrap 5) is opening (on the top center), but not as expected, the "Select language" is opened with a "strange border".

The "Dropdown list" option is working as expected.

Please, Can you confirm and provide a fix asap ?

In our Joomla Translate - we move Bootstrap - to self name space - so now it must look good and work good on all Joomla websites


"Select language" is opened with a "strange border".
Border around translated language - need for show current joomla site language - as me seem it important. But in email for you we show how you may remove this

many thanks. I tested and now is running as expected. Anyway I answered to you by email for an installation issue...

I suppose you worked on the z-index dropdown.
Hooping can be useful to you to better define the Joomla Translate z-index, I want to highlight you that Bootstrap 5 (Joomla 4) is working with these z-index values: getbootstrap.com/docs/5.0/layout/z-index/
This is why my sticky header (where the Translate Module is added) is working with a z-index: 999;

About: "List/Plain text/Text with flag: Dropdown List with Flag"

Right now, when the Language is selected, the Flag + Language word is shown. Considering that:
A - Hovering the Flag the "Alt" Language word is shown
B - I can open the Dropdown also clicking on the Flag (the flag is clickable)
C - The Flag is enough to understand what is the selected language (the language that is running)
D - Thinking on mobile (responsive) to save the width space is a must

How can we show just the Flag image (and to hide the Language word) of the selected Language ?
I mean just for the selected Language shown when the dropdown is closed, not for the Languages list into the dropdown.
Please, Can you suggest a trick / tip for it ?

Hi guys,
Yes, we are site developer and we have yet the "to investigate your Joomla CCK" in our to do list, in first of all to understand well how much is integrated with Joomla (and its extensions) and all its features / potential.
Right now we are using Seblod, but is lacking on support.
So, we are looking into alternatives as integrated as possible with the joomla standard and its Custom Files.
As you have seen we are using specific components for different services. This, until today, to try to save development time. Unfortunately, many times there are more support problems than the time saved.


Considering all these things:
