Using the Browser "Back"-Button 1 Year ago Karma: 0
Hi,

When i use the Fancybox on a menu item with one os-gallery on it, i can open the lightbox by clicking on an image. than i can skip trought the images of the gallery. fine so long.

but with every image i skip the next image it called by posturl like "website.com/galeries/anywebsitewithgallery?os_image_id-16#os_fancybox-5-2"

next image is like "website.com/galeries/anywebsitewithgallery?os_image_id-15#os_fancybox-5-1" ....

so when i use the browsers back button it calls the last url. but i should go to the last real page, not the last fancybox-slide.

example:
visit website.com
go to page website.com/galeries
go to page website.com/galeries/anywebsitewithgallery
then click an image, fancybox opens, skip through a few images. with every image the url changes like
website.com/galeries/anywebsitewithgallery?os_image_id-45#os_fancybox-6-2
website.com/galeries/anywebsitewithgallery?os_image_id-46#os_fancybox-6-3
website.com/galeries/anywebsitewithgallery?os_image_id-40#os_fancybox-6-4

when i now hit the browser back button it goes backwards:
website.com/galeries/anywebsitewithgallery?os_image_id-40#os_fancybox-6-4
website.com/galeries/anywebsitewithgallery?os_image_id-46#os_fancybox-6-3
website.com/galeries/anywebsitewithgallery?os_image_id-45#os_fancybox-6-2

But i should go directly to the last "real" page - in this example:
website.com/galeries

how to do/solve this?

ok, this is a pity...

i implemented the hash:false (like here) but i just removes the parts after the #

/anywebsitewithgallery?os_image_id-45
/anywebsitewithgallery?os_image_id-46
/anywebsitewithgallery?os_image_id-47

still no working back button....

so i started to insert another lightbox. was okay but finally i switched to another gallery-extension.

i really hope you can do a workaround or fix this with a new version of fancybox. in this state it is really not comfortable and userfriendly...

Dear

In our gallery, in version before, we used fancybox 2.0 - there all OK, But in new version was added "Touch slide" for to browse trough images.
This is very excellent feature (there are many other best features), but "Touch slide" cost money and efforts for move gallery to FancyBox 3

Please check how many excellent features our Gallery for joomla has ordasoft.com/os-image-gallery.html

i already bought your extension. it does a good job.

but like i said, its unusable for us with the backbutton-bug.
whats the use for touch slide if the user cannot use the back button on desktop and on mobile.
using the browsers general functions like history is essential... isnt it?

thanks for reply

Every back button press will move user to before steps in his history !!!
It not work like you wish, because it work other. But backhistory work correctly !!!

You not see links in history from some another user ...
