Hi,

Can someone explain the relationships between Instances, Entities, Categories and Layouts please? I'm not sure what each of these elements fit within the structure of the FORMS and the PAGES.

Any info will be appreciated. Thank you in advanced.

Hello

First of all please check our documentation forjoomla CCK ordasoft.com/os-simple-membership-joomla-membership-extension Documentation tab.

If you with help CCK create site about cars:

Instances - your cars
Entities - class of car, this is car definition, which fields every car will have
Categories - you may group cars to categories as example: SUV, Sedan, Wagon, Hibrid
Layouts - how all will look. This is your site forms, There with help our Layout (form) builder you create how will look "One car show form", "One car add form", "Search form", "All cars show form" ....

So you one time create Entities and Layouts and after you will very simply add new cars (Instances)

If you with help CCK create ADs site :

Instances - your advertisement message
Entities - class of Ad, this is advertisement definition, which fields every AD will have
Categories - you may group advertisement to categories as example: animals, job, business...
Layouts - how all will look. This is your site forms, There with help our Layout (form) builder you create how will look "One Ad show form", "One AD add form", "Search form", "All Ads show form" ....

So you one time create Entities and Layouts and after you will very simply add new Ads (Instances)
