Menu needs two clicks on touchscreens 9 Years, 4 Months ago

Hi,
I have another question.
The menu on a touchscreen needs to clicked twice.. I read that this is because of the :hover command.. So you need to click once for the hover and second one goes for the link. On a touchscreen this is not really handy. I looked at some solutions for it, but could not figure it out yet. Probably some jquery code is needed, something i am not very good at yet. Do you have an solution for this? Hopefully you can help me out with this
Thank you
Kevin

Is it possible to disable the hover on ios phones/tablets, so that when you click/touch the menu it redirects you right away to that menu? I tried to do this with the @media command, but was not able to do it like that. And i guess it should be possible with a short jquery code, but have to say there are a lot of "solutions' on the internet, but can't seem to get it to work. But that could also be me, because jquery coding is difficult for me.
Do you have a tip? If it is impossible I will leave it like this. But would like it if it is possible to do it like this.
Thank you
Kevin
