Hi there,

The demo of your free OS Template shows a slider with text.

I have downloaded your template and it did not have a slider at all?
Did I do something wrong?

I then downloaded your free OS Touch Slider and I can't see anywhere where I can add text to the slide?

Surely if the demo of your free template shows these items they should be easily available?
Did I miss something?
How can I have my site look like your demo site? Is the only way to download and install the Quick Start?

Seems, you have installed template, but if you want to get website like on demo you need install Quickstart,

you can download it follow below link

You need OS Quickstart for Joomla! 3.

Slider in OS Blank template is different, then on website.

Text in new OS Touch Slider - Joomla responsive slideshow module you can add follow our documentation

Great..... I see if I "edit" a picture I can add a caption!

It seems that the free version is very limited as to the ability to add a caption to a picture.
I can't move the caption to the top or the bottom or left or right? It just sits slap bang in the middle?
It also seems that I can't set a background?
Is this only available in the PRO version?

Yes, free version has limited option, we recommended buy PRO

1) move the caption you can with help drug and drop on image, you can see that feature in video, follow below link

2) Feature set a background for caption available in PRO version.
