VehicleManager WishList

Wish: It is very usefull to change the makers_and_models.txt file in the administrator in the vehicle manager instead of uploading a file with ftp. Or maybe, much better, just develop another functionality (just add a maker and model by typing and save when editing a vehicle. Uploading a txt file with ftp is not the way a cms is meant to be. In my vision this must be a high priority to make the extension more attractive to users who are not familiar with ftp. I know how to make a hardcore hack, but when there is a update of the extension the hack will be overwritten as far as I know. So that's no solution.

any progress? It's still a big issue and I think it's a small feature to add. Another solution is a simple way how to upload the makers model file to overwrite /components/com_vehiclemanager/makers_and_models.txt without using eXtplorer (it's a deprecated extension and I use for just one lazy txt file, I had to downgrade the php version to 7.3 to make it work, not done).
The Joomla media tab only uploads to the image map. I know how to change the path in the core files of VehicleMan, but again with an update I had to change the path again.
