VehicleManager component support

Hi, I'm considering purchasing VehicleManager. I have a basic website with GatorHost. Do I need a VPS or Dedicated Server in order to run VehicleManager with photo gallery and CSV file capabilities? Or can I run it on my basic web server?

Vehicle Manager Pro component has requirements exactly as Vehicle Manager Free version.
So if free version work good, Pro also will work good

I have installed the free version, however it says "for the download of photos to your server to work, you need to compile PHP5 with CURL support and for CSV export to work, you need to compile PHP5 with XSL support".

Are these things that I am able to do with a basic web server or do I need to upgrade to a VPS? My host service said that I need to upgrade, but it is a significant difference in price so I wanted to get a second opinion.

That check we did at ours component start. So component will continue work, but some features - will not work.


Import/export - for now exist only in Pro version. For it work need XSL support
Curl - need for PDF output work

What Provider you use ? Please check hostgator.com - there are big host provider - and as me see they has all that in most cheap host plan
