I create content using the CCK. The addresses in the browser are sent via email. However, sometimes the address is like this
.../op-25-353

and sometimes like that
.../op-25-375-476313

—why is that?

Hello. We are creating new addresses for instances every time they are accessed from a different menu item. With this in mind, we need to change the URL for each new menu item. To do this, we add a unique code to the address. So /op-25-353 is the URL created the first time and /op-25-375-476313 is the URL created for another menu item.

Yes. You can do that. But it is advisable to make sure that this page is available before you send an email.

But that is another problem. We send these emails. Later, we deactivate some articles. Now, the links in the emails lead to an error page. Can we set it up so that the deactivated articles do not lead to an error page, but to another page with the content: "This project is no longer available."
(I vaguely remember that we had this topic before)

Hello

In OrdaSoft Joomla CCK - you may set "redirect link" for missing instance or categories
For that go:
admin->Components->CCK->Entities->(select your entities), and there you see settings:
- Redirect a missing instance
- Redirect a missing category
