We want to use the Book Library to organize and old paper archive in our company for our Intranet so the colleagues can search what files are avaiable in the archive . From years 1980 - 2013


Documentations, Files with order infos ect....

Is it possible to disable the ISBN function complete because the documents don't have a ISBN number.

Is there a front end module for the admin for the lean function ?

Do you have a csv demo file for the import function ?

Book Library Software allows you with easy administrate your website. You can create many categories and sub categories; upload the book covers and create gallery. Book Library software enables upload ebooks, PDF files, that expanding the range of online store. In admin area of Book Library you can find tabs: Books, categories, reviews, suggestions, land request, sale manager, import/ export, settings frontend / backend


1) Yes it is possible to disable the ISBN function.

3)CSV IMPORT:

At the moment the following CSV format is supported: BookID | ISBN | Title | Authors | Language | Publisher | Description |
Fields are separated by a pipe character ( | )
You can import a whole list with just BookID and ISBN by leaving the other fields empty, for example: BookID | ISBN | empty | empty | empty | empty | empty |
Afterwards you can fetch the information from Amazon and publish
WARNING: do not use CSV import if there are Book Descriptions or Book Reviews present, in that case use XML instead!

We already bought the pro Version; So we have to buy the manual extra ?`

I have tested the Import with CSV File and got a problem :

Maybe because of default language is german ?

In the Example it says :

BookID | ISBN | Title | Authors | Language | Publisher | Description |

I tryed it with a test CSV i have created. I was playing around with the Positions of the text to get it working


The Description doesn't show up. The langauge filed is missing.

If i leave the ID empty - does the book then get the ID automatically ?
