Category empty after adding book 13 Years, 11 Months ago

We've just bought BookLibrary Pro.
When I add a book from the frontend it is missing the category in the backend. I don't use subcategories, maybe that's causing this problem. (Added subcategory but didn't made a difference).

Another question is: is it possibly to let new books added by users be published right away?

I've deinstalled the previous version of Booklibrary Pro and installed the version you mailed.
But the problem with the empty category still exists.
