BookLibary Component Support

Hi -- weird problem here -- in the "settings frontend" I have Show Reviews set to Yes, and Show Lend Status set to no -- but I still have that stupid Lend Request button, but no buttons whatever for showing or posting reviews. Is this even possible in the free version? I'm giving some thought to going ahead and getting the Pro ($35) version, because of being able to set the Amazon server to use, but I don't have $35 right now, and I'm worried that if this part is broken in the free version, is it also broken in the paid version?

How do I a) get rid of any of that "lend request" stuff (I'm not a library, I don't lend out my books to anyone, and certainly not on the web!)

and b) get the button(s) to show reviews, or post reviews?

Ok, still trying to figure this out. I set the permissions on "Show Review" to "registered"; I set the menu option for BookLibrary to Registered (I did have it set to Special since I'm still working on setting this up), and then logged in myself under a different ID which is a registered user rather than super-admin, and I DO now see the Reviews button, but only if I click the book title to see the book's whole record. I don't any longer see that "lend request" button, so I guess that works fine if anyone except the super-admin is logged in.

But, I am still considering that $35 paid version of this script, because it looks worth it, and it would be sweet to have an option/setting in the backend for which amazon thingie to use. But, I still don't have $35 right now, so that will have to wait a bit. Nice program, so far I really like it, and I haven't yet even made any money from using it -- but if/when I do, I'll like it even better!

Sorry, not understand work all for you or not.

For correct show Review to all and not show LendReguest. TYopu must set settings like in attachment image.

All in yours version must work - if some thing not work - please write.

Please use free version - when you buy Pro version - we will help you do upgrade.

Ok, I have my settings pretty much like that, except I have Reviews set to Registered -- as shown in this pic:




If I log in as a regular, registered user, all is fine (no lend button), as shown in this pic:




BUT, when I log in as a regular Admin self, I still see that pesky lend button, as shown in this pic:




Since regular users don't see what Admin sees, I guess that's fine. And I appreciate the offer to help me get it upgraded once I get the paid version -- I just have to wait until I can liberate $35 from the grocery budget or something. Or, who knows; because of this program I signed up as an Amazon associate, so maybe I'll actually make some money for a change, and pay for BookLibrary from the proceeds it helps to generate! (well, I can dream anyway!)

Yes, because you set - show for Supper Admin - for all Supper admin - you will see button "Lend request". Please set that option to Manager - or to some other user group - what not exist on yours site. And no body will can see so button.

Ok, that sort of works -- but not if you set it to Manager; apparently super admins can see what managers see -- but I also tried setting it to "publisher" and that DID work, I no longer see the "lend status" button even when I'm logged in as super admin.
