We have BookLibrary 3.1 pro installed on our site (Joomla 3.8). I don't know that it has been upgraded because we had custom coding done shortly after installation when the site was in development (c 2015).
Is there an easy way to disable this error or do we need to see about upgrading the software?

Can you write to ordasoft.com/contact-us-form which errors you now have and what changes were added to you ?
