Hi,
I got this error when installing the booklibrary component.

Installation status: fault
This component need the PHP YAZ extension for the z39.50 protocol to work correctly. Please recompile your PHP with the YAZ extension.

Can you please tell me what features use the YAZ extension? Do I need to fix this or will booklibrary work OK without YAZ?

Hi,

Book Library support YAZ server protacol. That protocol for work with very big Book Library world around.

You can continue work without YAZ. With that you will can only take info from amazon or type self.

Same error here!
Useless component if only amazon works...
How could I install yaz extension?

Hello,

YAZ - not all need extension, some hosting support it, some not support - so need ask from support.

Some time for support that you need VPS ore dedicate server hosting.
