BookLibary Component Support

I created a book library which im testing and results show up fine in joomla and the included template.

Now I want to incorporate the search and the results ie the part that says


into my orgs website.I couldn't install joomla on my work site since they dont support mysql so had to do it externally.

I managed to get the search box in lib.html which is on work site which is the above link but when it shows the results it opens up my other website in joomla.
I would rather just show the results in one page and not the other site and without the joomla template on work site.

any ideas and advice.

What CMS you use for yours site build ?

All what I can propose - that customizations
1. Create for you system like BookLibrary

2. we can create for you Joomla site - where we leave only central part from ordasoft.com/BookLibrary.html - so you will can build in it to yours current site as frame. So you will have Joomla site - only as admin panel for book manager


3 we cpecial for yours site will create front page like ordasoft.com/BookLibrary.html - and this page will do all requests for data to other yours site - what work under Joomla

But that all customizations. So need yours request to "Contact form"

I wanted to add some instructions in the page above the small search.which file should I edit.

Also, i would like to have the results of the search to say results.it shows search page still on the results page.
i noticed that if you cannot find the book, there is no page saying cant find and option to search again.
unless i missed it somewhere.

Also is there a back button to go back to search results after clicking on a book and see its details.

For now you can return back to search only with help back history - button in browser.

what about boolean combo for searching author and title in same search.

I do see in the code that there is an option for back button.
but maybe it doesnt work?
