is it possible (with the free version) to appear the books in a certain order (latest addition for example)?
Is it possible (with the free version) to choose collections that appear? only the category "child" for example?

You need check parameters for TOP and News modules,

Is it possible (with the free version) to choose collections that appear? only the category "child" for example?
That possible only in BookLibrary Pro version for "Featured" module. There are you may set how many time show some items

Also you may configure that in BookLibrary free version - for slide show module
