BookLibary Component Support

Hi there, on installing the plugin I received the following error message.

BookLibrary Pro
Installation status: fault
This component need the PHP YAZ extension for the z39.50 protocol to work correctly. Please recompile your PHP with the YAZ extension.
cheking database
install database
end install database

Sample data loaded
BookLibrary

This component is published under the License.
Installation: successful

I have checked with my hosting provider and received the following response:

I have had a look and found that YAZ extension has been moved to the PECL/PEAR. PEAR is installed on this server so the YAZ extension should work.

Please advise as a matter of urgency how I should proceed.

Book Library will work and without YAZ, you will continue can add book manual or with help amazon.

But if you need YAZ - you need ask self host provider about that

I have contacted my hosting company. According to them: YAZ extension has been moved to the PECL/PEAR. PEAR is installed on this server so the YAZ extension should work

So if PEAR is on my hosted server, I cannot understand why the plugin is not picking up the YAZ extension. Is there another way that this should be installed outside of PEAR?

Please can you help me understand. You say it must be installed by my host, but my host says it is installed already.

I really am very confused, and running out of time to get my site completed.

How you check that ?

If hoster installed that after yours BookLibrary install - you may check work that or not or reinstall Book Library or try fetch some book from some YAZ server.

At time install we do check exist some extension or not, simply check exist main functions from that extension
