BookLibary Component Support

I ordered pro version yesterday, right now im using free version.

this forum has been very helpful in learning the possibilities

made some changes to display, they work on search but fields are missing on main page.

ive attached screen shot for example.

running very slow and only have about half my books loaded. you mentioned in another post ways to make it more efficient.

please help

For change how category look, you also need check where and how we show headers for form

For optimize speed, You need check main select and fields what you use in Where - and in Database create for so fields index

Can I load the pro version on top of free version? I have got all my books in, and the export xml doesn't work. also I keep getting either errors or slow performance.


here is the error I keep getting

500: Internal server error

This error is generated when a script running on the server could not be implemented or permissions are incorrectly assigned for files or directories

Troubleshooting suggestions:

Temporarily disable any rewrite rules by renaming your .htaccess file if it exists.

Ensure that any CGI or Perl scripts have at least .755. permissions.

If trying to run PHP and you get this error, you may have an invalid php.ini in your /cgi-bin, or may be missing your php.dat file in this folder.

Can I load the pro version on top of free version
That depend from version what you use. ordinary can, but for that:
1. You need do all site files and database backup(with that you may restore all)
2. In Booklibrary setting you need set "Update" to YES
3. You need reinstall old version and install new
4. you need recover folders:
{site}/components/com_booklibrary/covers
{site}/components/com_booklibrary/ebooks

But first need recheck import/expoprt - because that must work always, or you have very old version

500: Internal server error
That some inner HTTPD server error, please check yours server errors logs
