BookLibrary Modules Support

Hi, We have had Booklibrary Pro 2.0 running for a couple of years. However, the Search module in the front end is only working if a user is logged in. We have set the Component front end to say "Everyone" access and the Module is set for "Public" access but when you are not logged-in and try a search using the Module, you are asked to login to joomla first. I would expect that anyone should be able to do a search.

Any suggestions?

Hello Dave,

First off oll best if you checking when that stop working and what you did before that. Ypu may install unsinstal lsome plugins or remove BookLibrary menu

Also that may look like problems with access to Book Library menu items, or access to module.

May be you have some menu to book library what accessible only for registered users ?

Please check trash for menu - and remove any link to book library from it

I have the same problem.
Deleting the menu voice which needed authentication made the search module work, but that is not a solution for me, since I need that menu voice.
I want the search module to search through all books in collection and a menu voice with "My books"; only the latter should have the access restricted to logged users.

Is there a way to implement that?

Hello,

access of user you can set in Joomla admin and the access of menu you can also set in admin. It is standard Joomla settings. If you want change component write to our project form.

Moving the menu voice from main menu to user menu actually solved the problem.
I'm not sure what the problem was since I'm quite a newbie in joomla,
by the way, it's working now.
