New books module goes to log-on page!

Hi there,
I have added the newbooks module to my website and it displays the latest book that I've added, but clicking on the book takes the user to a logon page.
The URL also appears to be different to the URL you get when you navigate to the book via the menus:
Via the menus it is:
Via the newbooks module it is:
I can't see any parameters that can be changed for the module - can you help please?
