Hello Ordasoft team, Books Library users,

Has anyone managed to achieve a Books Library user who can be restricted to perform only the following:
1) Books Lend
2) Books Return activities

Please share your thoughts.

Hello,

First - go to admin - Components BookLibrary :: Settings Frontend - Show Lend status and choose, group users who can see tis button - Editor or Manager.

Second - Go to admin User Manager: Users and configure user in this groups.

All tihis can be done for others Settings in BookLibrary

Hello Taras,

A typical librarian will need the backend access where he/she can see all the Lend Requests from the members and process them at a go. The front-end access i see is to generate lend request for a book.

How can we create a role where the librarian can have access to the backend joomla login and can only access the following:
1) Components > bookslibrary > Lend Requests

From the frontend i dont think a user can be configured who can see all the Lend Requests. Correct?

2) Yes, From frontend users can not configure the lend Request.

Does work. Can you demonstrate this config by logging in? I cannot find any way a librarian role can be created who has only access to only: Components > bookslibrary > Lend Requests

Hope you get my point. I want this librarian to acess thru the administration URL (yrc.rightdeal.in/administrator/index.php)

The access you can choose for you groups only in BookLibrary :: Settings Frontend and BookLibrary :: Settings Backend

You can choose, what User groups from which Review notifications will be sent, User groups from which Suggestion notifications will be sent

You can choose Allow Lend Requests for User groups, for example you have chosen already librarian.

Only in this way. There is no other option.
