Well, it would be a module similiar to , say, featured_authors. One could select a category, by number, to feature; or several categories, by number, to feature.
One can currently make these choices with a MENU Link, but one might not want this information as a page. One might want to present this information as a module on a page.

Must it show categories of books or books from these categories ?
