Well, yes, one can use categories. But individual books can only be in one category at a time. Tagging allows for another level of "categorization" that is not limited to a single book.

Hi.
Still above mentioned feature of tagging would be great, as it would allow to have less categories, because sometimes you do not want to specifically assign book to a category, but have only some general relation between books.

If we have this in wish list for add to our Joomla book library
By the way, If you no need Fetch info from Amazon, or from other websites. Please check our Joomla CCK - There you may create inteface exactly like in Book library, and add "tags" or other if you need.
With Joomla CCK - you may create any types of websites for Books, for Photos, for documents ..
