Improving ordering of categories

Hi.
Currently there is no fast way of moving new category to the desired position (it always defaults to 1st position after creation), except of using up and down arrows in ordering column.
That can be very tedious process, if you have 30 categories and want to move new one to the 29th or 31st position.
It would be great to have a selection of "Place after category" list box in category creation page that would allow placing category specifically in the desired position.

Hello
True say, default we sort Books categories by name in Joomla Book library - as me seem this need for 98% of Book library users
for other - we have "manual order" - sorry, for now only so
