Add some user defined fields, that can be adjusted within the configuration.

Hello,
Sorry not understand how "user details" connected with BookLibrary.
When you create "Lend request" e.g. - you can add most important user details.
Also for Joomla exist very much other components go "User details"
Thanks,

I think it would be nice to have user defined fields for each book such as "location". This would allow the user to find the book on the shelf more efficiently.
Thank you.

hello,
For that purpose in BookLibrary ordinary use BookId - in this field you can set some special code like wer123r - where from you can check book location
Thanks,

I don't know if you'll see this but I do think that adding two or three user defined fields to hold such things as the DCN (Dewey Decimal System Class Number) which is still in extensive use in libraries for classification once the rest of the information is retrieved. Keep in mind that the ISBN is a commercial, sales classification system not a shelf catalog system as the DCN is.
Right now I'm adding this as the last line of the description field which is a bit awkward as it can't be used as a lookup field on the user side.
Those fields can be titled to the end user as, say, I require and ought to be a non-unique text field so that it can take any content (varchar(250)) and indexed to speed searching.
Use of the fields would be entirely up to the user (me) and the user (me) shouldn't expect much in the way of support should it all srew up because of something I did.
Thanks!
