Image uploads suddenly stopped working

Hi,
Like many others, seem to have an issue with image uploads. Was working OK before, but now when trying to upload images just get blank square - as though image upload not worked, even though the upload to start with seems OK. Have tried multiple times with different images, same result. The original 1st module installed a week ago still works fine, so don't think its a JQuery issue. Unsure right now what the actual problem 'is'.
