Joomla Gallery Support

If I create a NEW category and rename, that category is already populated with the images of the previous category. The page is not empty, so I am not able to drag new images that a newly created category.

By clicking and trying to save and close the component for a few minutes, I'm able to get a clean category ready to import the new images.

I've only just installed a few hours ago and finding this very frustrating. Any help would be appreciated. My impression is that it's a bug.

I have found a rather clumsy work-around and I hope a future update will fix this issue. Here is my work-around:

1. Create and name a new Category (problem for me....it will contain all the images from previously selected category and not be selectable)

2. Drag a new image into ANY OTHER existing category

3. Save and Close the Gallery

4. Re-open the same Gallery, select that new (problem) category just created and named. It will now be selectable and empty of images - new images may be dragged now mysteriously into it

5. Save and Close the Gallery
