Joomla Gallery Support

Hi. After updating joomla from 3.8 to 3.9, and also updating OS Gallery to 5.1.7 Light Pro all galleries have dissapeared from my content articles. Aparently the system plugin is working: the link to OS site is there and initially the pluging seems to be loading the gallery but it does not show. I have changed the template to check whether this could be a template-related issue but it does not solve it. Any ideas of what can be happening?

I am also encountering the same issue after updating Joomla and OS Gallery. In my case, everything was working fine before the updates, but once I upgraded Joomla and OS Gallery, all of my galleries stopped appearing inside the articles as well. The plugin appears to load at first, and I can see the little OS link showing that the system plugin is active, but the actual gallery images never display on the front end.

I also tried switching to a default Joomla template to rule out any conflicts, but that didn’t fix anything for me either. The shortcode seems to be recognized, but the gallery just doesn’t render.

While troubleshooting, I even tested a few sample posts—including some food-related content I was preparing, like a comparison page inspired by items from the Texas Roadhouse menu—just to make sure it wasn’t something in my article formatting. You can learn more about those menu items if you’re curious, but even with that content type, the galleries still refused to load, so I’m confident it’s not content-specific.

So far I haven’t been able to pinpoint whether this is a compatibility issue between the new Joomla version and the gallery plugin, or if something in the update broke the rendering script. If anyone has figured out what’s causing this or how to restore the galleries after the update, I’d really appreciate some guidance as well.
