JoomGallery to the JOOMLa Gallery from OrdaSoft?

You may very simply move to Pro version of OS Joomla Gallery
In Pro version you may set as source for your image any folder on your site with images source. So You may easy as image source set folder with images from another Joomla gallery.
Also you may upload images to OS Joomla Gallery with help ZIP file with images and as drop down from your PC

А можно подробнее о том как установить в качестве источника папку. Знаю как загрузить с папки, но как выбрать источник не знаю.

В данном случаи имеется ввиду одно и тоже.
В нашей жумла галереи вы не меняете структуру наших папок - вы задаете откуда грузить картинки.
Соответственно вы легко можете загрузить в нашу галерею картинок - картинки из любой другой галереи
