Joomla Gallery Support

I am upgrading from OS Gallery 4.5 to 6.0. The image titles in the galleries were white with some kind of drop shadow. They worked okay on dark and light images. After upgrading to OS Gallery 6.0 all my image titles are black and can't be read on darker images. Is there any way to get it back to how it was or have some other choices for image titles?

On the galleries that were created with 4.5, under 6.0 the number of columns is reduced by one. There seems to be the same amount of space on the right but 6.0 won't put images there. If I increase the number of columns the images shrink to add one more but there is still a "blank" column on the right. If I create a new gallery with 6.0 I have the correct number of columns displayed. Do I need to do something to galleries I created under 4.5 to make them work right under 6.0?

The last version of our Joomla Gallery - created for Joomla 3.9 and Joomla 4.0 - so there may some CSS changes.
Please in Gallery settings check settings:
