i installed the free search module to see if it would do what i am trying to do and I get this on my web page.

how can I fix it?

all depend what version component you use.
If that old version - it may not have these contstants

I need chow what template you use ?
What version module and component you use ?
when you download module and component ?

I am using all the very newest version just downloaded a few days ago.
My site template is the default that installed when I installed joomla. Its called Protostar.
I will try the Chow template.

I just realized that the chow template is a wordpress template. I am using joomla. is there a preferred template for that?
