if my listings is perspective to an agents listings, why does the search pro module pulls results for visitors and registered users under an agents my listings page. as this page is where i want agents to add, edit, view, their listings, its not where i want users viewing search results...? especially since that tab is hidden from registered and public

Page of results you can change, go to advanced setting of module search and set Id of menu in ItemId field.
