I added some "custom drop-down menus in the Classic template. Now I absolutely need to put them in the Search form (in order to let customers choose region, town, area of the town ...). Exactly the same problem which is discussed in the following topic:

I read the topic, but it was not enough to solve the problem: the answer only shows how to create a custom drop-down menu (which I already did), but does not show how to add it to the search module. I read that you have sent the user an e-mail with the latest version of the search component. You can send it to me too?


I need to also create a drop down with category (eg high standing ) and within this category another drop down to put ( homes ) and in homes for another dropdown another category to put ( duplex, castilos ) , ie need for each drop down a subcategory ; I read the post , I have set the advanced function but not how to create categories , subcategories and as add them to the search engine, as well as countries , you can explain in a detailed step by step as is done please?

Add in search possible new fields, which have been created with help extra fields.



To to let customers choose region, town, area of the town form drop-down list and choose category from another drop down list

it will be additional service (paid work).

To get subcategory in search module you need make 2 things:

1) create subcategory in RealEstateManager : Categories (follow attached image)

2) Make category publish in module search and you will get subcategory in search as in demo

Now subcategory - Cottage in main category Family house.
