Dear OrdaSoft,

I installed the RealEstate package and would like to link the objects for rent, sale etc. directly from the main / top menu of Joomla 1.5. But, I can select "All Categories" section only.

I changed metadata.xml file manualy, but could not link to the right section.

How can I link from a new menu item to the several categories?

Hello Vasili,

For create Menu item to some alone house or flat - you need go to that item in browser, save link to it.
After that you need go to menu creation - and create menu to Exterhal link - and insert Link what you save before to that house.

Exactly so in Real estate manager, you may create menu item to some property category or properties search result.

Dis does not work when you link to a category without having the 'default' menu item set published. You will get a 404 on the page to a category. Do you have a solution for this?

Hello Kees,

Please in yours site joomla global setting turn Off SEF URL mode. After that save URL to some real estate category. And use this link for Extern link Menu creation - and for you all will work

YES! This did the trick! And I had the possibility to turn SEF back on, so that's great! Thx for your help!!
